In the land of Yan and Zhao, the wind blows through the wheat fields. As the wheat in the northern Hebei Plain enters the peak harvesting period, the progress of summer grain harvesting by machines has reached over half across the entire province. In recent days, agricultural machinery based on Beidou has been escorting the summer grain production in many parts of Hebei.
At the Kuanle Cooperative in Yongqing County, Langfang, Hebei Province, over 100 sets of modern agricultural machinery, including Beidou self-driving seeders, unmanned tractors, crop protection drones, and grain drying towers, have achieved full-process intelligence in crop cultivation, planting, management, and harvesting, ensuring efficient operations on over 10,000 mu of farmland and achieving an annual grain output of 5 million kilograms.
At the wheat harvesting site in Chenjiawu Village, Wen'an Town, Wen'an County, Langfang, Hebei, eight combine harvesters worked simultaneously, completing the harvesting of over 50 acres of wheat in just a few minutes. The agricultural machinery operator said, "When using Beidou agricultural machinery for harvesting, we choose the appropriate operation route, adjust the operation width, and maintain the operation speed to reduce the loss rate. Based on the excellent performance of Beidou agricultural machinery and the high level of operator skills, it can effectively avoid situations such as missed harvesting and grass blockage."
In Ningjin, Hebei, new technologies such as Beidou, autonomous driving, spectral diagnosis, environmental monitoring, and AI decision-making have been fully utilized in the production and management of crops such as wheat and corn. Standardization, mechanization, intelligence, and precision in grain production have been achieved with the support of science and technology.
