Road traffic system

Shanghai Port is equipped with telemetry, positioning, and tracking terminals based on the Beidou system, which enable real-time tracking and precise positioning of maritime infrastructure. By obtaining information on the dynamic drift trajectory of navigation aids, it plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and effective safety management of navigation aids.

Environmental sanitation system

In Wuhan, Hubei Province, the city's environmental sanitation infrastructure has been equipped with terminals that support the Beidou system, which can automatically detect the amount of garbage stored in trash bins, accurately solving the problem of overflowing bins. In Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, 300 environmental sanitation vehicles have been equipped with on-board Beidou terminals, allowing management personnel to monitor the operation of the vehicles in real time, including departure time, driving speed, driving trajectory, and other information.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Office of the Central Leading Group for Cybersecurity and Informatization, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Health Commission, and the National Energy Administration jointly issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for the Construction of New IoT Infrastructure (2021-2023)", proposing to utilize various technological methods such as Beidou to advance the construction of new IoT infrastructure, promote the development of the digital economy, and empower the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
